About
Working with the new product development (NPD) skincare team at SharkNinja for 3 months saw me working on their LED face mask CryoGlow®. This involved getting it ready for display in shops and being involved in the final stages to bring it to market.
Prototyping
Working with the product development team I worked on fit and comfort prototyping for the mask; using user feedback to improve strap design and reduce drag on the face.
Testing
Compliance testing, thermal testing, mechanical testing and software testing were all essential to allowing Shark to bring CryoGlow® to market in October 2024.
CAD
CAD was involved for both prototyping and testing of this product.
Learning
Throughout my time at SharkNinja I developed my CAD skills in Solidworks and learnt to use Creo. I enjoyed the fast paced environment and gained experience working with electronics and in rapid prototyping.
